Privacy and Professional Code of Ethics
Privacy and confidentiality are cornerstones to upholding my ethical standards. As a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors ( BCACC ) I am dedicated to providing the highest standards of professional counselling as well as adhering to PIPA, British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act. . For phone-based counselling, my wireless carrier is Fido. For virtual online counselling, I meet with clients using a professional Zoom account that is a 256–bit encrypted online platform. I also use Jane’s App, a practice management software for booking appointments and record keeping.

Insurance Coverage
Please check if you are able to have registered clinical counselling counselling services covered under your extended health insurance plan. I am a provider with Pacific Blue Cross and also Greenshield.
I am approved as a First Nations Health Authority (FNHA ) Health Benefits mental health service provider. If you are covered by FHNA benefits, up to $90 can be used to cover our counselling session.
Crime Victims Assistance Program
I am a registered provider for the BC Crime Victims Assistance Program. The Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) assists victims, immediate family members and some witnesses in coping with the effects of violent crime. It provides financial benefits to help offset financial losses and assist in recovery. CVAP covers up to $80 for registered clinical counselling services. For more information you can click the link.
